The work of Lavar Munroe is displayed on the July 2011 issue of ARC magazine. ARC is a Caribbean art and culture magazine dedicated to highlighting emerging and established artists. Over the past few years, Munroe (a native of Nassau, Bahamas) has developed a solid exhibition record of group and solo shows in the US and abroad. His latest series called Strength and Struggle: Haiti Continued can be viewed August 22, to October 14, 2011 at Wesley Theological Seminary’s Dadian Gallery in Washington, DC.
